We have taken part in Operation Christmas Child for the last several years and every year people have had an absolute blast as they help children around the world…without even leaving Dekalb!

We are inviting every team to put together shoe boxes and pack them with fun and useful items for kids who would otherwise not receive a gift this holiday season.  These shoeboxes/gifts will be sent overseas to children living in war-torn and impoverished countries.

Think about how much time you spend with your teammates in a given week…ten? … Twenty? … Thirty hours?  With all the time that you spend with one another how much of that time is spent talking about some of the things that really matter most in life?  Are you looking for the opportunity to talk with your teammates about your faith and how God has made a difference in your life?  AIA’s Bible studies meet with the purpose of helping ones teammates learn more about Jesus Christ and why he is so important to you.

Get some perspective on college, athletics, and the things that really matter most in life.  We hear  from coaches, student athletes, pastors, AIA staff, and others who will keep before us the vision of making our lives really count.  We look to the Bible as our guide and we talk about how our faith in God strengthens & sustains us in every area of our lives.  We meet every Tuesday at 9pm upstairs in the Yordon Center.

Come on out to the Yordon Center (Second Floor) at 9pm every Tuesday for AIA.  We know your busy so we keep the meetings to under an hour, but there are always people hanging out afterwards if you just can’t get enough!  Come as you are.  It’s a laid back environment.  No one is going to put you on the spot.  Feel free to bring some teammates with.  AIA is lead by student athletes for student athletes so we think you’ll feel right at home!
